They started out black, scuffed and pretty sad looking......What a difference a little paint and ribbon make. The roses are my first attempt at making fabric roses. I wasn't happy with them at first but the longer I look at them the more I like them. Does that ever happen to you? You're not satisfied with a project but when you walk away for awhile and pick it up later it somehow looks better!
Now they are happy little ballet slippers again!
